Cremer Sofia Ltd. was founded in 1994, with Peter Cremer Holding GmbH & Co. KG holding a majority interest.

Initially, Cremer Sofia Ltd. coordinated the import of rice and molasses for local buyers as well as the development of the Bulgarian market; since 2004, the office in Sofia has focused its activities on the export of grain and oilseeds to countries in the EU and the Middle East.
