In 1929, Walter Rau took over the oil mill of N. Simon & Söhne in Neuss, founded in 1887.

Having thus been successfully established at the centre of the German and European food market for more than 100 years, WALTER RAU Neusser Öl und Fett AG has been part of CREMER since 1999.

Located in Neuss, the company today specialises in customised vegetable fats and oils. In addition to frying fats, the company also produces specialist fats for the baking, confectionary, and dairy industries.
